Minowa Stories is an independent storytelling project devoted to people, place, and the quiet beauty of everyday life. The work is guided by a belief that the most meaningful stories are noticed slowly, gathered with care, and told with intention. Through essays and imagery, Minowa Stories blends narrative depth with an editorial eye. The work explores lived experience, landscape, craft, and connection, favoring restraint over spectacle and clarity over noise. Each piece is shaped to feel timeless, grounded, and quietly alive.

Minowa Stories is created and edited by Erica Lea, an Iowa-based writer and photographer. Her work centers on human stories and place-based observation, informed by a Midwest sensibility and a modern editorial approach.
